Centre, all you need is intermediate Excel skills, so there
is no requirement to learn new software.
The Business Intelligence Centre ships
with a variety of popular Excel Reports including a Monthly
Management Pack, Sales, Inventory and other useful reports.
These reports can be manipulated and saved to achieve your
own customised view of information - all in Excel.
And for those very specific needs, the
Business Intelligence Centre also facilitates a professional
service offered by certified Excel Report Writers. You can
even receive new reports via email and import them directly
into their Business Intelligence Centre.
The Business Intelligence Centre also
has an offering for the skilled IT user looking for a powerful
Excel based report writer capable of delivering reports
from any ODBC compliant data source.
The Sage Pastel Business Intelligence
Centre module is available to users of Sage Pastel Partner
and Pastel Evolution. You can select either the Standard
or Advanced edition to revolutionise the business
information available to your organisation.
Sage Pastel Partner add-on modules

As your business grows and begins to demand
more sophisticated features and functionality, Sage Pastel
Partner allows you to add users and modules. By adding specialised
modules, Sage Pastel Partner can be tailored to cater for
industry-specific requirements, providing your business
with solutions specific to your business processes.
Sage Pastel Partner has full multi-currency
processing which can define a currency for each customer,
supplier and bank account. Sage Pastel Partner is fully
euro compliant and supports European Union processing.
Sage Pastel Partner can track your inventory
in as much detail as necessary. You can create product or
service items, establish minimum and maximum stock levels
and more. The Sage Pastel Reorder Assistant can also create
lists of items that need to be ordered and will automatically
create purchase orders for fulfillment.
Sage Pastel allows you enormous flexibility
in respect of selling prices. There are ten standard price
lists and a date-sensitive special list which allows you
to run specials over a limited period. Refine these further
with a volume-based percentage discount matrix per customer
category and inventory group. With Sage Pastel Partner you
can also prepare future prices in advance of a price changeover.
Serial Number Tracking
Keep track of individual inventory items
that have serial numbers. You can track items from the moment
you purchase or manufacture them, until you sell them. Continue
to track items for warranty purposes e.g. should a customer
return an item for repair.
Bill of Materials / Kitting
Sage Pastel Partner can create bills of
materials (recipes) with an unlimited number of components.
You can use three additional user-defined costs such as
labour, overheads and buy-outs and when you manufacture,
you can remove component items and create manufactured items.
Copy one bill of material to another. The Kitting option
allows you to link multiple inventory items to a kit, and
when you invoice the kit, Sage Pastel automatically details
component items on invoices.
The enhanced Multi-Store add-on module
offers even more features than before. If you wish to have
the same prices in every store, you can now set the prices
in one store and copy these to other stores. You can also
specify user access per store and if you limit user access
to a single store, the system always uses this store as
the user default store - no data entry is required.
Fixed Assets With features such as an
unlimited number of assets and multiple forms of depreciation,
Fixed Assets helps you manage and track your fixed assets
easily, affordably and reliably. Available as a stand-alone
module, Fixed Assets is part of the Pastel Evolution range
of software. Fixed Assets automatically creates batches
of information that can be posted directly to Sage Pastel
Partner's General Ledger, thereby avoiding duplicated data
